So the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival has come and gone. There was still a big turn out at the festival despite the rain. It was a good time had by all. The music was live, the food was cool, and there were good people all around.

40 Acres is going to be having a booth at Brooklyn Bodega's Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival this Saturday, June 20th. We will be promoting the website and the 20th anniversary of Do the Right Thing. The Macon Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library will launch the Generation Preservation Project.  The GPP seeks to capture, preserve and document the legacy and tradition of family that's rooted in the Bedford-Stuyvesant community.

Passing Strange at the Tribeca Film Festival PDF Print E-mail

On May 2nd, Passing Strange had it's New York premiere at the Directors Guild Theater during the Tribeca Film Festival. After the screening a talk was given by Spike, the creator of Passing Strange Stew and his collaborator Heidi Rodewald.
